West Bank parliamentarians call for PLO Central Council meeting
In the West Bank, Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC) members from several parties calls on the Palestinian leadership to start a national dialogue as soon as possible. The PLC members further called on the ledership to prioritize a restructuring of the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO).
The deputies proposed the formatio of a committee with representatives from all parliamentary blocs to deal with the current internal crisis and condemned Hamas’ actions against members of Fatah and the other factions in Gaza.
All parties except Hamas’ Change and Reform bloc were present at the meeting.
