Reconciliation committee calls for technocrat cabinet
A Palestinian National Reconciliation Committee consisting of professionals, academics and civil society leaders based in Gaza has been working behind the scenes to help resolve the disputes between Hamas and Fatah. In its first public meeting at the Al-Andalus Hotel in Gaza, the committe called for a comprehensive national dialoge and the formation of a technocrat government. The committe is also calling for a review of all of the governmental decrees issued after June 2007, according to Maan News.
