Leaders detained in Gaza
The police of the de facto government in Gaza has arrested at least 17 Fatah leaders, according to Maan News. The arrests were made only a day after an order by President Mahmoud Abbas to release all political prisoners arrested by the Palestinian Authority (PA) since the Gaza bombing on 25 July.

The arrests of the Fatah leaders were condemned by the Palestinian People’s Party (PPP) and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP).
