De facto government responds to speaker’s call
In response to a petition by the hamas-affilliated speaker of the Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC), Ahmad Bahar, the Interiory Ministry of the de facto cabinet in Gaza released Fatah leader Abdallah Abu Samhadana.
He was released along with 150 other people who were arrested in what an alleged investigation by the de facto cabinet of a bombing on a Gaza shore on 25 July.
According to Maan News, more than 20 institutions and organizations were reopened after having been closed down.
