De facto cabinet allows Fatah elections
In preparation for its sixth General Conference Fatah is set to conduct elections in the Gaza Strip. The Interior Ministry of the de facto cabinet in Gaza has declared that it will allow the elections to take place. Fatah, however, considers Hamas an illegitimate authority that does “not have the right to prevent or allow any activities by any Palestinian faction.”
